Successful candidates for the Vanier Graduate Scholarships from the Government of Canada get $50,000 grants each year for three years to pursue research in prestigious Canadian institutions.

The Vanier CGS programme supports students who exhibit both leadership qualities and a high standard of scholarly achievement while pursuing graduate studies in the social sciences and humanities, the natural sciences, and/or engineering and health. Its goal is to draw in and keep top-tier doctoral students.



The Major-General Georges P. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS) programme aids Canadian universities in luring highly qualified PhD candidates. Major-General Vanier was the first francophone Governor General of Canada.
