Cam’ron Releases ‘My City’ Featuring Max B

Cam’ron My City Max B: Cam’ron has today released new music titled ‘My City‘, featuring Max B. This is in anticipation of his forthcoming album, Purple Haze 2.

It is also preluding Max B’s release from prison, as it draws near, more music from the incarcerated rapper is being released. His EP titled ‘House Money’ is also set to be released this friday, Dec 6. Cam’ron returns the feature favor and makes an appearance on House Money on a track titled “Goodbye” that also guest stars Dave East.

The wavy artist delivers a melodic chorus on the track, the raps from which were performed by Cam in a freestyle back in 2016. With Killa’s storytelling about back in the days, this is definitely a good listen. Check it out below.

The accompanying visual is packed with home footage and photos of friends as Cam shares stories of those he’s lost along the way and what its been like making it out of the ‘hood.

Lyrical Excerpts

[Cam’Ron] Yo, I went to the block manicured, seen my worker, approached him
Told ’em, “Look, I’m not a big fan of yours; you fuckin up money”
He said, “You s’posed to me the man and all!”
I told the nigga, “Damn the torch! Fuck about a damn award
It’s all about the principle; look, I ain’t tryna be your principal

but I ain’t dumb and you, ain’t invincible”
Niggaz talk subliminal, then grab they genitals
I don’t play that shit, a different individual
You got me thinkin criminal (word!), he said “I’m only a soldier”
Well good, pay a general
Over a small thing, but let small thing slide
You be a poor thing, then I heard
