“I Will Still Perform On Stage When I’m Pregnant”-Adina Thembi
Popular Ghanaian singer, Adina Thembi has asserted that so many celebrities are delaying birth simply because of their careers.
Speaking in a recent interview on Adon TV’s Ahosepe Xtra, Adina said that there is no way she will be putting her career on hold when she gets pregnant.
She said that she will still be doing her job as a musician until her doctor advises her to take some time off before delivery.
However, she will hit the studios again after birth to continue from where she stopped in her career.
I think apart from entertainment industry, even in offices people don’t want to employ women because of maternity leave and all. For me, I want to proof that thing wrong. I don’t believe because you are a woman you have to take a full break , she said.
I wanna be pregnant and be performing until I can’t anymore. I would want the doctor to tell me that. After birth, I would still like to be working, Adina explained.
