‘I’m Happy My Music is Dominating Flagstaff House’- Gyakie Says
New kid on the block and one of the most conspicuous faces of the New School, Gyakie has expressed happiness that her music played a dominant role during the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo’s birthday.
Recall that the fast-rising Afrofusion musician, whose real name is Jackie Acheampong had her song ‘Forever’ with the keyphrase ‘My Mind Dey For You’ being employed by the First Lady Rebecca Akuffo Addo to wish Nana Akufo Addo a happy birthday in an Instagram post.
She was asked by Tony Best on Akoma FM’s Kwantenpon Drive whether or not she saw the First Lady’s tweet to her husband on his 77th birthday.
Gyakie said it was an hounour that her music even reverberates in the Flagstaff House saying it’s a pleasure when her music has an impact everywhere.
“I have not personally had any invitations yet, maybe my management has but one thing I know for sure is that my name is gallivanting in the Flagstaff House as we speak. Ask the First Lady about me and she will tell you she has heard of my music,” Gyakie said.
